Purchase a Gallery Work
Purchase an Artwork
Presented in the Gallery
If you like a work of art
presented in my Gallery and you're interested in
purchasing it, please
contact me to find out if it's still
available (I try to keep my site up to date in
terms of what's still available, but sometimes I
get a little behind since I spend so much time
painting!)
Commission a Painting or
a Portrait
If you'd like to commission
a painting or portrait,
contact me and then you can submit a photo of your favorite subject...a
person or a pet or a favorite landscape photo to be painted. Please use the
form on my Contact
page to request a quote, and be sure let me know
the size of the painting you want to commission.
Photo & Image Quality
For best results please
submit a good quality photo. A high-resolution
image (at least 1280 x 960) is much better as a source than one that's
been reduced. Anything smaller may not have
enough detail to be reproduced well in your
commissioned piece, especially if it's large.
Image submission
The fastest and preferred
way of getting your image to me is via email.
After I receive your quote request, I'll reply
to you to let you know I received it, and you
can email your photo to me after that.
Down payment
All commissioned works
require a 50% down payment by PayPal, cashier's
check, money order or personal check. Personal
checks must clear before any work can begin.
Confirmation
You'll receive an email
confirmation that your photo, down payment, and
order were received.
Art Work Begins
I'll start
working on the painting as soon as the required
down payment is received and I have the image(s)
you've sent for reference.
Framing
All completed paintings presented in
the gallery are professionally framed unless
otherwise noted. Commissioned paintings
are unframed, however, you can request framing in
your choice of frame for an additional fee
(calculated based on the specifics of your art
work). If you'd like your commissioned art work to be framed, please
let me know that when you request the quote.
Delivery
Packing and shipping fees
are additional and clients are responsible for
these fees. If you're purchasing a completed
work from the Gallery, your art work will be
carefully packed and shipped, fully insured, via
UPS. If you're commissioning a work of art, you
can choose either USPS or FedEx if you prefer
them over UPS, but I will only ship with fully
insured with a tracking number for the
protection of your art work.
